This is Piqa's Pic of the week ---->
Carol and Art are the latest additions to my
friends and family. They're training well. So far, even though
I've only been with them for two months, and I'm only 15 weeks old, I've
trained them to give me treats if I sit, if I lie down, if I run up to them
(but I insist they call me first), if I bark at them (but they have to ask
me to). I don't know what I'll try next. If would be nice if they
could lay some track for me so I can use my nose. They're both kind of
old and out of shape, but they're coming along nicely. I take them for
a couple of walks a day and I try to pick nice places. My favourite so
far is at Green Point in Gros Morne. Our latest one was nice though; I think
they liked it. Look in "Current Events" if you want to see their
version of it. For me, I found a lovely bone that I made Art carry
home for me in his pocket. It was a nice, clean shoulder bone from a seal.
At least that's the consensus. Who cares! It's nice and hard and
it's helping my puppy teeth a lot. How it got to the top of the lookout
we'll never know. Thanks though, whoever or whatever. (I'm having a
lot of trouble training them to clean up the carpet after me; I've almost
given up on this one; I may have to let them have their way. It will be a
small sacrifice.)
